Hi chaos cultists !
I woke up this morning full of inspiration for my Chaos warband. First I decided to accelerate my painting/converting rhythm and as I restarted play Warhammer, I needed a Army Standard Bearer. I wanted something fat, ugly and insane.
So I picked a look in my stock and I decided to use my miniatures for the Pantheon of Chaos. Diego Serrate did an amazing job to reproduce the Realm of Chaos spirit in his miniatures.
I used the Hellbringer as beast and a Slaanesh Hellstider as horseman. I like the fact that the character stands straight on his mount while the beast in itself is completely insane and disproportionate. Like if the character was riding a chaos spawn. "You've lost the Dark Prince's favor ? Now serve me as mount ! MOuahah" :D
I just changed the head with an old fiend head. He looks so sweet now !

A new fight against Pestilus the greedy
The infamous Pestilus, also known as "Pestilus the Greedy" invited me for a 40K game in his dungeon. Of course we will play at the second edition of Warhammer 40k, of course I will have to suffer Pestilus'musical bad tastes and of course I will HAVE to eat with him during the game.
Pretty tough I now, but when you play Slaanesh, "everything is an experience" you know. So I pass my bravery test and I come to Palaiseau to fight against him.
The place alternate between a room of a teenager with post-nazi posters and Emile Louis' lair. Fortunately, I bring some fun with me. The game could start on a good side :
We decided to play a classical battle with secret objectives. I luckily drew "conter-offensive", the easiest mission, simply just "seek and destroy".
I made my list quickly and I wanted to try something brutal, without any psyker, just pure long range annihilation.
My list :
Julius, first captain of the Emperor's Children : Terminator armor with 2 lightening claws, convector field, combat drugs, mark of Slaanesh, Musc
6 Possessed of Slaanesh : swords, claws and bolter pistols
6 Infiltrated veterans, various close combat weapons, MK1 plasma gun
6 Noise Marines, Blastmaster and 5 Sonic blasters
6 Noise Marines, Blastmaster and 5 Sonic blasters
6 Noise Marines Terminators (yes I know), 3 sonic blasters, 2 Blastmasters, 1 champion with 2 lightening claws
28 sustained fire dices for 2000 pts :D
Let's see if the Pestilus' Word Bearers like to dance !!!
The two squads of Noise Marines took place in the ruins while the veterans tried to hide in my enemy deploiement zone.
My army might not look like pure fun, but he was playing a fucking Land Raider with 2 Dreadnoughts !!
His army slowly advance while I didn't stop shooting on everything, especially the Land Raider and the Dreadnought but they absorbed my shots very well.
Just as his Possessed of Nurgle that succeeded too many saving throw !! He even made better rolls than me !! A genuine scandal.
Fuck you Pestilus |
The game was very thigh, and I guessed Pestilus had the mission "capture"as he wanted to reach the center of the battlefield. I was right and I only won because he didn't fulfilled his mission. He otherwise clearly mastered the battle. So I luckily won 15 to 12 !
My veterans trying to do something... here attacking Pestilus level 3 Psyker... Bad idea guys... |
Possessed of Slaanesh vs Possessed of Nurgle.... an eternal war |
